Bathampton  is a really pleasant and sought-after village east of Bath and a level walk to the City. It is closely associated with the watercourses of the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal and provides many beautiful towpath walks, some of which take you to the popular George Inn and Bathampton Mill (pictured). Bathampton provides easy access to the motorway, Chippenham and also Southern towns such as Warminster and Salisbury and is ideal for families.
